Hi guys! If you're a regular visitor of my site you'll notice some changes.. Yes my friend you're not dreaming. LOL. I just wanna make my site more updated because last year I wasn't able to coz of my busy schedules but now I'm back and will update my site as soon as I can.  I was able to watch the Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight live and for free yesterday and it's also the very first time that I watched a whole boxing program ( I usually watch only the main event coz I don't give a damn about the undercards) Anyways, to be honest I was going for Mosley, not that I hate Pacman, I have mad props for him but I just wanna see if Mosley can stop the P4P King. I began losing faith for Mosley for that pushing that he did that made Pacman go down to his feet and to my surprise the ref called it as a knockdown, I mean the footage was replayed a lotta times and it was clearly a push. And that made Manny pissed. Overall the fight was not the one that I was expecting and for me the fight of the night was Arce vs. Vazquez, but the Million Dollar question still remains: Who can stop Manny Pacquiao?  Anaheim, CA - Just in time for Valentines Day, the long awaited return of "The Most Electrifying Man In All Of Entertainment" The Rock happened. He was chosen by Vince McMahon to host this year's 27th Annual WrestleMania. Actually I have no idea what the host will do in a Wrestlemania so this is something to look forward to. I got chills when his infamous "If Ya Smell What The Rock Is Cookin!" intro was played, the crowd went nuts and it has been years since I heard a huge "pop" like that in the WWE. Of course as we know it.. The Rock delivered his catchphrases and insults Michael Cole. But the most interesting part was the way he dissed John Cena. Rock said he thought Cena was a great guy but when he disappeared Cena was talking trash about him. saying that Rock has forgotten WWE because of his career in Hollywood. Are we going to see a Rock vs. Cena match on Wrestlemania? Let's find out. This morning,I saw a video of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon,telling the WWE fans that the Government Officials of Connecticut are prohibiting the voters to wear any WWE Merchandise,whether it's a t-shirt,wristband or a necklace or else they will not be eligible to vote. The reason for this was because Vince McMahon's wife Linda McMahon is running this election and said that wearing WWE Merchandise is a part of a "candidate's paraphernalia" , I mean come on..that is completely BS.Where's the freedom here? I really can't understand the discrimination being fired to the WWE, I may not be from Connecticut but I'm a big fan of WWE,it's been a part of me since I was a kid until now. WWE is SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT. Just like soap operas, each wrestler has its own storyline just for the fans. Wrestling is staged or scripted, but still families around the globe enjoys WWE programming.I really hope and pray that Linda McMahon wins.. Below is the video of Vince McMahon defending the WWE fan's right to vote:  I'm not a big fan of Apple. But I'm an iPod Touch user. Currently,I have the iPod Touch 3rd Generation 32 Gig that I bought last year 3 weeks after its official launch. I love my iTouch,and of course I love it even more coz it's jailbroken hence I can download and install many apps I want for free. Not to mention it's huge size of storage, I wasn't able to make use of the full memory though but its all good. This year,Apple launched the new iPod Touch 4,in which they included an HD camera and also a special feature called "Facetime" that makes you do a video call and stuff.(not that informative about it) Quite frankly I'm not really impressed with the touch having a camera,what for? I have a camera on my Blackberry and I have my own digicam anyways The added features also include the retina display just like in iPhone 4 and I think there's something called "Game Station". Now here's a big question for ya'll ipod touch users just like myself: Is it worth to upgrade to iTouch 4? Let me know your thoughts. Finally I have found time to vent everything I feel regarding the tragic hostage taking that happened last Monday in Quirino Grandstand. I knew that a hostage drama was going on via Twitter but I was able to watch it on tv in the evening. I saw how the SWAT team and police attacked the bus and how hard they tried to open the door and stuff. I have nothing against them,in fact I salute them for risking their lives during the drama. Though they are blaming the government for the lack of equipments still they did their job. But I really hope things were settled in a nice way if not for the arrest of the hostage taker's brother that triggered him to start killing the victims. I'm so saddened with this tragedy. I can't blame Hongkong nationals hating on us right now but I just wanna say that we are NOT Mendoza,we are NOT like him. So I hope and pray that they don't hate the whole Philippine nation. My condolences go out to the family of those who died during the tragedy. Let's pray that justice will prevail. ~Brixx. [Sports] WWE Summerslam Random Thoughts 08/15/2010
 On August 16,2010 (Manila Time) it's going the be the 23th annual WWE Summerslam. one of WWE's biggest pay per view of the summer. I remember watching Summerslam when I was a kid, watching Bret" Hitman" Hart and some of the legends. And that what makes this year's Summerslam exciting because Bret"Hitman" Hart will get back in the ring to wrestle together with John Cena,R- Truth,John Morrison, Edge,Chris Jericho against The Nexus lead by NXT Season 1 winner Wade Barrett. In another exciting match, WWE Champion Sheamus will defend his title against "The Viper" Randy Orton. Well,since Orton became a babyface I become one of his fans,I really like his character and I think WWE did a great job of making Orton a fan favorite rather than a heel. I hope Orton wins the title tomorrow. This is also the much awaited return of The Undertaker since his long absence (and being married to Michelle McCool) and is expected to show up to face his brother Kane.  UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva successfully defended his title against Chael Sonnen on UFC 117 yeasterday in a very stunning fashion. Silva was really getting his ass whipped by Sonnen in Rounds 1 to 4 catching Silva in takedowns and really put tons of punches to Silva. UFC commentator Joe Rogan said that Silva was hit more in the fight than in Silva's entire career. In a fight that Sonnen capitalized,everyone was stunned (including me) when Silva caught and locked a triangle choke to Sonnen and taps out. There was a little controversy though,Sonnen was telling the referee that he didn't tap out but the replay showed that he indeed tapped out.  Honestly, I'm not really a movie buff.When i go to movie houses I end up sleeping and wake up minutes before the movie ends. Maybe it really depends if I'm really interested in a flick like Iron Man and SpiderMan.
But one movie,(besides the Karate Kid) caught my interest because of the All Star cast: Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Randy Couture and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. I'm a big fan of Rambo in the '80's, I remember watching a cartoon version of it and watched Rambo movies back then. |
